January.

Updated: Jan 22

Traditionally January is a time to sit back and shake off the madness that was December.

So far so good we've managed to shake off the lurgy flu that came a calling.it really did floor us all.

Then it was the turn of the wee blue van .

The gear box packed in but thanks to RMcC and Caldwell's in Omagh it was up and running again within a week.

Our diary is filling up nicely and we are fully booked for valentine's Day.

We are receiving a lot more enquiries

for corporate catering and it looks like a lot more families are choosing to stay at home and host their holy communion celebrations in their own homes so we've devised menus to suit different occasions that include hen parties.wedding breakfasts christenings and birthday parties.

We've also seen a rise in catering enquiries for wakes that arnt soup and sandwiches.

Canapes mini Yorkshire puddings bite size pies and macaroni cheese seem to be replacing the traditional sausage rolls and cocktail sausages.

So again we've adapted our menu to reflect trending taste's.

So it never stops we are constantly striving and planning for upcoming months.

And we love it..

Happy new year to you all even though we are nearly done with the January blues .

Everyone here at the platterwomen looking forward to 2025.
